Think Cell

Essentially think-cell is an add-on to powerpoint to make charts faster. Would you know of any other installation-based alternatives?

Are There Good Alternatives to think-cell?

think-cell has become the industry standard for generating graphs in a lot of ways. This is largely due to its ability to represent data in clear ways with data pulled from PowerPoint.

User @BigPicture explains:

I like it when think-cell makes my Gantt chart into a bunch of individual shapes. I once saw a client makes his own Gantt chart out of a bunch of shapes after seeing our slides. He didn't realize we use a program to do it.

See the different types of graphs think-cell can generate below.

An Anonymous Monkey prefers generating their graphs in Excel due to its ability to process large amounts of data:

I think a better option is to create charts in Excel. Since default Excel charts are sorely lacking in some features, you can use Zebra BI to insert advanced business charts like waterfalls, variance charts, hills & valleys etc. Why use Zebra BI in Excel instead of think-cell in PowerPoint? Because Excel is just SO MUCH better at working with large amounts of business-related data, pivot tables, databases, etc.

yeah that's how it works. not really an issue other than it makes it harder for them to edit/change.

if nothing else, props to him for the work effort, but seems like a bit of a waste of time
