Three-Statement Modeling Test

Hi All,

New poster here but have been reading this site for years. I have a superday this week in which I've been told I'll be given an hour or two to put together a full three-statement model. Only problem is, I don't have much modeling experience.

Any insight into what this will entail specifically? What's the best way to prepare? I've been googling around and reading as much as possible, but I'm not sure I'm preparing in the most efficient way possible. I'm not sure how to learn quickly how to forecast statements and link the full model — anything at all would be very helpful.

I really want to nail this, so thank you in advance for any helpful advice or guidance.

There is no way to "read" and be able to do it - that's like attempting a Calculus exam by reading the textbook.

You need to practise to know where the nuances are.

There are some Wall Street Training and Breaking Into Wall Street modelling packages around. I think it may be wise to spend some money and purchase one of these programs to learn.
