Top Finance schools and Volunteer work
Hello!
I am currently a high school Junior at a private school in Los Angeles. I come from a successful family (not crazy rich, but >135k/yr.), and I am not of a minority ethnicity. Luckily, I have not had any horrific, life-changing experiences that have altered the course of my life. This doesn't make it particularly easy for me to shine out in terms of getting to college.
One thing that many colleges look for (Wharton, for instance) is that a candidate uses his/her passion to help others. I'm absolutely intrigued by the finance world and would like to show demonstrated interest in this passion to help others. So, my question is the following: What do you all suggest that I do in order to build a resumé that shows both demonstrated interest in the business/financial field and that uses this passion to help others?
Thanks!
