Trainee of Fixed Income Markets Department
Hi guys a new college graduate here. There is a job opening from a big french bank:
1. Calculate indicative prices for various IRD products for salesperson to join the bidding process held by clients.
2. Handling client requests by picking up phone calls, providing daily, weekly, monthly MTM and reply immediately to client’s request
3. Present in the Product Committee to promote the Bank’s structure
products and help our product to be selected and launched on monthly basis.
4. Assisting salesperson to follow up the everyday unwinding deals
5. Properly keep all relevant information of the executed deals and maintain the Sales Report on daily basis.
The job title is "Trainee of Fixed Income Markets Department". Could somebody please tell me what the job is actually like and the exit ops? Now I am mainly looking for ER since I wanna gain analytical skills (valuation) early in my career. Can this job provide similar training or open relevant doors? If not, what kind of skills and exit ops does this position bring? I don't live in the US or France, if it matters. Thank you very much.
