I know that you only list your GPA from the school you transferred to on your resume, but when banks ask you to submit your transcripts do you submit your transcripts from all past schools you attended? Or just from your current institution?
Thanks

I've globetrotted around a few colleges, it's going to be a pain in the ass requesting transcripts from multiple schools if they do in fact require that.

Transfer here. My summer class has another transfer. Between us we applied to most BBs and elite boutiques, and it seems like none of them required a transcript from our previous school (though we suspect they might confirm attendance through the background check).

First of all, the listing of the GPA depends a lot. If you transfer to a better school, of course the inclination is going to be to hide all evidence that you ever went to such a poor excuse of a school in the first place.
However, if you are at a top school, chances are you had to be pretty impressive in terms of GPA/ECs in order to be accepted. If you don't include your old school (especially when transferring as a junior and recruiting for summer), chances are that your resume looks like you've done nothing for the first two years of college.
In addition, your GPA could be lower than your peers' since you have less semesters on your record and more difficult classes vs. the guy who did his first one or two years at your new school. This makes you look like a weaker candidate. It is also dishonest to try to present yourself as someone who has attended your current school for your entire college life.
To answer your question, my school's unofficial transcript indicates transfer credits (and what institution they came from) separately from normal credits. It does not indicate the grades you made in those classes, however, just what class it was equivalent to and the number of hours granted. I only submitted my transcript from my current school and I did fine in recruiting.
