Transition to Advisory @ PwC

I have accepted an offer in PwC's Risk Assurance service line for the summer of 2017 but I am more interested in their mgmt. consulting service line and hope to move to that portion of their business if I am offered a full time position after the internship. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the difficulty that comes with interning with PwC (or a similar firm) in one service line and moving into a different line of business (consulting) for the full time position (if a full time position is offered...).
The reason I am going into Risk Assurance vs. Advisory as an intern is because "the only available internships in advisory for the 2017 summer, are for Tech consulting" (I am a finance major and would not qualify for a tech consulting spot).

Any insight is helpful!
