Treasury Interview Crash Course
So I networked/lucked into an F500 treasury phone screen/first round interview. I'm a military academy guy still on active duty, so I really haven't been exposed to these types of positions before... Any basics I should cram in the next couple weeks?
Treasury Interview - Help (Originally Posted: 01/07/2008)
I have an interview with a major Corporation (Fortune 20 if that exists) for a post-MBA position in their Treasury group. I am currently doing an MBA and my pre-MBA backgroud is not in finance.
I have appeared for a few banking interviews and know how/what to prepare for them, however have no clue what to expect for this interview. Here is a description of the job and the requirements:
[ Responsibility will include the following: Managing front office trading in capital markets and foreign exchange. Risk Management and Funding Strategy. Capital Structure and Treasury Operations.
Ideal candidate will have an MBA Finance have at least Passed CFA Level-1. Possess strong Analytical Skills including Modelling and Derivative Pricing experience.]
I am looking for advice on what material to prepare/study for the interview. Thanks in advance.
