Trying everything to breakinto S&T, Need CV advice and what to do next!
Hi all,
A little intro: I'm at a top 10 UK univeristy, I am studying physics and am currently on placement year. I've always been interested in financial markets and ultimately that is why I want to break into S&T.I am currently recruiting for Off-Cycle/Summer internships next year. The issue I am having is that my current contract (on placement year until the end of July 2015) doesn't finish in time for me to get onto a SA program.
Apart from the usual BB, MBs and emailing hedge funds and asset managers does anybody have any specific advice I could draw upon to build a solid foundation for next summer?
The alternative to me getting another internship is that I go travelling, which is appealling however, I feel like interning in a much more market facing role will make recruiting for Grad/analyst roles that much easier.
I have attached my CV please feel free to critique as I would love your feedback.
Thanks for any help I get in advance, its mega appreicated.

-Overall CV format looks good, but standardize the dates -Too many points per experience. Remember, less is more. -Bloomberg, Reuters and Datastream don't count as technical skills -Remove the certifications section. You haven't got any yet. -Remove A levels
Source: Just been through recruiting in London myself.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll sort that out, really appreciate it. If I remove my A-Levels should I remove my GCSE's as well (therefore all secondary schooling as I know this is quite unconventional but makes sense as my grades are average).. and then add a 'leadership skills' section or similar? Appreciate it, good luck in recruiting this year!
