Tulane vs. Uconn - Student deciding between Tulane or Uconn

I'm a student currently deciding between attending either Tulane or Uconn as an incoming junior and wanted to get a picture of which would be better from a recruiting standpoint. Tulane will cost $14K more total over the next two years, or 7K more per year, but in either regard I will still graduate debt free. I will be in the finance program at both schools, and know a fair bit about both. Tulane will offer classes more tuned towards Wall Street (like Venture capital) though not too much else whereas Uconn is more focused on real estate and insurance. Tulane will definitely be more challenging academically, and my GPA may suffer because of it. I would expect my Uconn GPA to be between a 3.8-4.0 whereas the Tulane GPA might be between a 3.6-3.8.

I'm currently technically a uconn student, but I am actually at one of the regional campuses. I mention this because I have already built up a decent record here with a good GPA and am wondering whether Tulane is worth it. However, I would be transitioning over to Uconn's main campus next year so socially speaking, I would have to meet new people and build a new life basically regardless of wherever I go. Being from CT, I don't want High school 2.0, so the south may be better idk but Uconn feels more comfortable. I just say all of this because personal happiness is a key factor for me, which is why I'm willing to transfer over, even though Tulane obviously isn't a souper douper target or anything. I just want to go to the best school possible, where I have the best shot of getting into at least a reputable MM IB after graduation, if not a Bulge Bracket. The benefit of Uconn's curriculum is that it will be easier for me, and my gpa is already inflated from the easy gen eds whereas at Tulane I would have to fight tooth and nail against my peers to come out on top. I say this because I'm interested in joining a frat and having a life after two years of commuting and working hard.

I'd be okay living in Houston for energy, but idk if going to Tulane as a junior transfer will set me back or shut me out of recruiting. Is Houston BB possible from Uconn? Also in terms of curriculum/learning, Tulane is far better with the burkenroad reports and the energy trading activities and such. Uconn only has a student managed fund. However being a state school, Uconn's students may be less interested in wall street idk.

You should be able to get the same grades at Tulane as UConn. Tulane for the south, UConn for northeast. Both will have some people in WS jobs.
