Two job Offers: different industries
Hello everyone, appreciate any advice in advance.
I am two years out of undergrad- finance major. My experience includes an investment advisory role at a family office and real estate work with a private investor.
My first offer is to start a career as a wealth planning specialist, go the CFP route and utilize the firms growth in referrals. Very small financial planning firm with two advisors that need support to service clients. Growth into an advisor role within a few years. Includes salary and referral prospects due to time constraints on the two advisors. Salary and profit sharing when clients are under my management.
Second offer is a finance role within a large real estate development firm. Mainly working under the cfo and coo. Company is growing drastically with large room for growth and small layers between upper level management and myself.
The starting salaries for both positions are not of much concern - mainly because I am most interested in the long term payoff. Advisor route obviously with no cap on income when producing clients and the real estate finance role no supplemental income potential - possible bonus.
Appreciate the insight or opinions of anyone. Thank you.
