university ranking

If you can go to a well-known university but won't get good grades or go to a relatively known university but not as good as the other one and get better grades, which one is the better choice for future jobs on wall street?

They both matter. Honestly, try to get into the best most prestigious college you can and then make the best grades you can while there.

The way you phrase your question is odd. Are you considering going to a lesser university because you calculate that your grades with be better there than at the superior school? That would be a losers calculation.

This is why I am asking for your opinion because I want to know how the system in the US works, thanks for your reply.

You can chose to go to any one of the universities you are accepted into. Youbdont HAVE to go to onlybthe highest ranked. Although unless there is a financial or scholarship or field of study specific reason to go to the lower school, it is advisable to go for the highest you can get
