Using the firm's rental bulletin before even starting?
I'm currently searching for a place to live and it's not been going well so far. All the places I've found have been overpriced, too far away from the office, or not safe (Like there have been issues with burglary and vandalism, sometimes by the maintenance staff).
Recently, my point of contact for questions at my firm, gave me a copy of the firm's rental bulletin (basically it's a craigslist used exclusviely by folks at the firm); it lists roommate searches, lease takeovers, subleases, etc. Since I haven't even started working yet, do you think it's appropriate to find housing through the bulletin?
Before you ask, no one else from my school is going to be working here or moving to this city. Also, since I'm a Dec. grad, I'll be starting in March. My plan was to keep searching and maybe use the bulletin as a last resort if it's a few days before my starting date and I still haven't found a place.
Absolutely no problem at all.
However, this sounds more like a homework question from an ethics class.
It's not. I'm honestly afraid if I contact someone on that bulletin, they won't take kindly to it because again, I haven't started yet.
