UT Austin MPA vs UM MAcc

Long time reader, First time poster: I have Internship this summer with EY in their FSO in the BAP up in NY. Recently, I was admitted into both schools (UT and UM) and am having a tough time deciding which one to choose. The end goal is to get into IB, trying to give myself the best set up. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not sure why you're applying to either one of these programs if your end goal is truly IB... The vast, vast majority of placements at these programs are going to be at one of the Big 4 firms. One look at the stats tells you all you need to know. UT Austin's MPA only placed ~4% of students in IB while UM's MAcc placed ~7% of students in IB.

You should be looking at MSF programs if your goal is truly IB, unless you already have the experience for an MBA (which it seems like you don't). I would recommend reevaluating your current plan or changing your end goal. Best of luck

Where do you find those stats?
