Warwik Vs Lancaster Vs Durham
I have been offered a place at Warwick Business School for MSc Business (Finance and Accounts) and at Lancaster for MSc Finance. The Lancaster offer is with a 3,000 GBP scholarship. Cost is in no way a criterion, but quality of education, future job prospects, respect of degree, its international recognition, etc. are very important criteria.
So, on the basis of these criteria, most important being future job prospects, which of the two should I choose (Durham is yet to reply, though I hope the reply to be very positive)?
Please try to give reasons for any suggestions, as for me this may be the most important decision of my life.
Thanks and regard,
Harmeet singh
Warwick>Durham>Lancaster.
I don't work in human resources nor I have taken any course in any of the universities you mention. But, I have talked about UK universities with some economics professors and they talked about Warwick as being on the top and better than Durham, and way better than Lancaster, specially when it comes to business studies.
EDIT: Have you applied to other programs? Because if you dont care about the cost of the program there can be better ones. (Oxbridge, LSE, Bath...)
Warwick by far. In the UK f to get into IB/Finance:
LSE/Oxbridge UCL/Imperial/Warwick Cass/Kings Russell Group (Durham, Lancaster)
Obviously it changes slightly for postgrad but Warwick will keep doors open everywhere.
Do not go to Lancaster. Go to "Warwik".
