Wedding Attire

I know this is a bit off topic, but wanted to ask anyway.

Have a couple of weddings I will be attending here shortly. Was wondering if a blue/navy or grey/charcoal check sport coat would be suitable.

Thanks in advance.

It really depends on the venue and generally the crowd/location of the wedding. Generally, I'll wear a suit. In fact, I'll only really wear a suit unless it is explicit not to (like for example I attended a beach wedding). I think for the majority of weddings you'll be best served dressing the same way you would for a night out at a higher end restaurant while erring on the side of being slightly more conservative regarding combinations (colors, ties, etc.).

Long story short, I think you'll be fine with any of those colors.

Is this serious right now? Wear whatever the fuck you want to wear. Its a wedding, no one is going to be that concerned that your tie is matching your girlfriends dress or the wedding color theme, and if they are concerned with it then they have their own issues.

It really depend on whether the wedding will be indoors or outdoor. Either way your outfit selections are all wrong.

For an outdoor wedding I would def go for a springy look. You should wear a nice light green suit and the emphasis is on the "light green". Now you might be thinking " I dont know shit about colors".. Well, have no fear, take 200 g of plain yogurt with 40 g of spinach or kale and blend it together-- that is the color you want.

The pant and the shirt arent really that important, just make sure the suit is light green and the emphasis is on the "light green"

LMK if its an indoor wedding, I can help you think of something

It's an indoor wedding. I don't hate your outdoor suggestion for an outdoor spring venue though.

If your GF is in the wedding, then you get to sit at a table with potentially strangers, just get really drunk, and you won't care what you're wearing.. won't care who you're sitting with either!

Aside, just a random thought, if the groomsman are having the same color ties as you would, which I assume they would be close, and charcoal tuxes, then I wouldn't worry about matching since you don't want to be mistaken for one. Agreed with person above saying don't have to match but don't want to look off with pictures. If wearing the same tie, with different color shirt, and suit I wouldn't think matching the tie to your GFs dress is a problem.

hhhhmmmm its better to be unique.
Dress something that stands out to the crowd :)

Well this is just a lazy troll job, both in execution and timing (as wedding has clearly passed).

You can but there are other options in ethnic wear for men you can try too, such as achkan, sherwanis, kurta, dhoti kurta the works. These would be more suitable for an Indian wedding.

In an Indian wedding, men have several traditional and contemporary outfit options to choose from. Here are some popular options for men to wear at an Indian wedding is Sherwani, Kurta pajama and Indo-Western fusion outfits blend Indian and Western element. Recently I bought. some traditional outfit from Nihal Fashions for my cousin's wedding and exited to wear all of them.

Depends on the wedding. Most American weddings are dress down with solid color suits as the norm. In Houston I would say this is especially true and perhaps even less dressy. I attended a wedding in Houston where a gentleman wore a sport coat with jeans. Wear a solid blue suit with black oxfords and you should be fine.
