I had a call with talent acquisition and they said round 1 would likely be this week. Didn't get an email about it. Anyone get one?

Hasn't heard back either. Is it appropriate to email undergrad recruiting and ask for follow up?

Yes. I had 6 rounds of behavioral and technical and “fit” questions. Then I had an investment analysis case which I presented to 9 people split across US and Asia.

My process was a bit unique however because of the offers I had going in and my prior experience.

Overall, everyone was really chill, passionate, and really smart. I think if you like investing the process will flow a bit more organically.

Got an offer for FT ECI Research Associate in Early October. My process was accelerated however so some of you should be hearing back.

In hindsight, I think it was moderately difficult but a genuinely interesting process overall. Every interview was with an executive/MD. There were 6 for me with a mix of technical and behavioral.

That culminated into a case that focused on investment analysis. From my understanding I had to do the case for Asian region applicants and then present my analysis to people based in the US ECI team and the Asian ECI team.

Everyone was nice and honestly it didn’t feel like anyone was trying to crush me or watch me suffer. They really wanted to see if I can think through investing.
