Lev Fin exits aren't as strong relative to their deal flow because they don't do as much execution work as the industry groups. That said, the WF brand name will pretty much guarantee you at least a MM PE exit regardless of your group. Depending on the group hours can often be a lot better too. Also, their new monthly protected weekends are pretty great for the work/life balance. You're guaranteed off from Friday at 6 to Monday at 9. Plus two weeks of guaranteed protected vacation time per year.

WF LevFin from an execution perspective is far from #3 on the street. WFS will not lead high risk HY financings, not part of their strategy. But they'll will help place a lot of HY debt. Don't be fooled by a league table with 4 footnotes on it.

User39, you're plain wrong re: MM exits. Most 2nd year analysts I know at WFS are still looking for exits.

That said, its a well known bank. The WFS name will get your foot in the door for a lot of interviews (mostly MM. will likely not get you in on your own to the MFs - need other connections). Can't speak to industrials specifically.

Strongest groups there are M&A/E&P. Anyone who says otherwise probably belongs to a different group there or doesn't know the platform.
