Expect 8 interviews from very mediocre people who will try to convince you about how great Wells Fargo is while you nod your head and smile and wonder why you didn't study harder to the MS interview. Mostly fit because most of the interviewers don't have the competency to check any technical questions anyway.

i love how its always the people from 2nd tier banks who troll in threads like these

maybe if smith3408 had done better at his MS interview he wouldnt have ended up at BNP

to op: no firm's superdays are unique. expect the same thing as every other interview, maybe with somewhat more emphasis on why WF

Thanks, but MS only hired for Cap markets my year. And my "2nd tier" BNP position got me into a 15B PE firm quite easily, so thank you.

Yeah, emphasis on the last part. They are going to want to know "Why WF?" and not someone else or somewhere else. Not being in NYC (although some WF groups have a presence there) can be a big negative for some and a big positive for others. A guy I know just received a FT offer following his summer stint and he said that the acceptance rate was well over 90%. That, coupled with an 'employer's market', banks aren't hurting for quality choices so it will start to boil down to fit and things that seem less important like whether or not someone is going to stay for the 2 years.

I'm not too knowledgeable on the groups, but San Fran or NYC will have better nightlife. But Charlotte is their biggest office and will provide the most opportunity to network.
