What are my chances - Semi-target University in Canada

Long story short:

I am in my last year at Semi-target University in Canada

I have below 3.0 gpa (out of 4); I am not going to make excuses, the reason for my low mark is the lack of effort. Stupid on my part but nothing I can do over spilled milk now

I have been networking pretty aggresively and even with my crap gpa I managed to work at boutique hedge fund, boutique investment bank, and pwm at one of the big 5 canadian banks, and I currently have an offer in the upcoming semester for midmarket investment bank internship

Given all this, is it still possible for me to break into a large Canadian investment bank (RBC/TD/CIBC/SCOTIA/BMO)?

In terms of work experience I think it's pretty good but I am worried that I wont even make it through the official recruiting channels with that garbage gpa

Thanks everyone

I can tell you that official recruiting for the big 5 ended early september. As far as your stats go I wouldn't expect anything with that gpa. Any success you will find will come out of networking.

If it means anything I still have 11 courses left to graduate, if I were to get decent gpa for the remaining 2 semester (3.5+/4) would it help alot?

In terms of cGPA it wont really make a difference but atleast it will have a huge spike in marks for 4th year...

Thanks

Whatever you do, don't list your GPA on your resume. I have a bad GPA with good experiences, at a target in the US, and have gotten lots of interviews.

haha :)

Good to know that other people are in a similar situation but doing well

I didnt put it on resume; figured if I list it with below 3.0 it will get tossed out before they look at WE
