What are my chances at these schools?

. I'm thinking about applying to Oxford MFE, MIT MFin, CMC, Vandy and Duke. I was first thinking about only applying to vandy, cmc and duke but then I thought it wouldn't hurt to throw in some more apps. Will I be competitive at MIT and Oxford? Also, how is LBS for Internationals? I've seen their stats and most internationals go back to their countries and mostly europeans and brits find jobs in UK after graduation. Is it worth applying to?

PS: I'll be applying in the end of this year.

Not necessarily NYC. I'm comfortable with working anywhere in the world as long as it's in IB and NOT in third world country lol

Well if you're interested in working in IB anywhere in Europe, then LBS is the way to go.

However, if you want to maximize your chances of working in IB in the U.S. then either go to school's like Stanford/UCBerkeley/UCLA/USC for IB on the west coast, which is mostly in San Francisco. If you want to work in IB on the east coast, go for schools like the "Ivies", NYU Stern, Duke etc etc.

Oh, an obviously theres the mid-west Chicago area, but I dont know much about the "target schools" there other than Northwestern University & The University of Chicago

It really depends on your preferences.
