What is your favorite Sport?

Hi everyone, I was wondering what is your favorite sport. Mine's Basketball (and Kobe Bryant). I also play pool and bowling, not much though.

(My dad used to be in the volleyball team back in college, but he never taught me how to play volleyball...)

What about you guys? Golf?

Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu, Snowboarding, Running, Cycling, Surfing

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

I know Apollo is buying ClubCorp, and Arcis owns a number of clubs. I got a partial scholarship to play which obviously helps coming out of school, and the majority of the networking I do tends to be on the golf course. Getting ready to enter the workforce is obviously a little daunting so getting advice from guys who have been successful can bring a little clarity to a 22 year old. Plus it's a great outlet, so I still try to play every Sat/Sun morning.

To watch: College Football. My school didn't have a team (Our president said he wouldn't even entertain the idea because it's a total waste of money. This was said during the same press meeting as he cut Tennis from the varsity sport list)

To play: Pool. I went to the College National tournament the last two years.

Hoping for hedge life.

HAMB - Hit a Million Balls

Just focus on fundamentals, and if you've been practicing a lot but still seem to miss the easy ones, don't be afraid to change something. Just recently I realized I could shoot more accurately by turning my hips a bit from what I had been and it increased my shot-making by at least 10% which is good when you only miss a handful anyway.

If you're just starting out Dr. Dave on YouTube has some good stuff for beginners as does Tor Lowry (sp?).

Hoping for hedge life.

Soccer hands down. Can talk about it all day. If anyone watches it PM me. I do enjoy watching basketball though. If you mean in terms of actually playing, it's soccer and basketball, and ultimate frisbee. Ultimate is a very underrated sport. Unfortunate it's not that big in the US.

I have played basketball for 7 years and i used to love it, untill i started training martial arts! I have been an addict for almost 15 yrs. I love the Adrenalin of a fight and the respect afterwards

Tennis and badminton. I got started with badminton, because the racket was easier for me to hold when I started playing. Both are awesome to play, but I find badminton more fun to watch than tennis. I would like to give squash a try soon.

“I’m into, uh, well, murders and executions, mostly.”

Cycling, rowing, tennis. I dabble in table tennis and badminton but more difficult to play. Trying to get into rock climbing and then mountaineering. Also, want to try BJJ or maybe some type of krav maga.

I enjoy watching soccer (#1), f1, cycling, rowing, football, march madness of course.

Yes yes cricket woop! A lot of people find this boring, but to those with the acquired taste, where you at?? Did you watch the champions trophy this year?

Boxing is also another fav to do/watch.

Yeah I was able to catch the Champions Trophy. Was pretty shocked tbh, thought either England or India had in the bag, only for Pak, who I had down to be knocked out at the group stages to go ahead and win the entire thing.

It's a shame that when most people think of cricket, they only think of the Test formats. These are obviously a very acquired taste and most people wouldn't find it that interesting but I do wish more people would give T20 a chance, pretty sure the average sports fan would find that exciting enough.

To Play: Cricket, Golf and American Football (well, before tearing my ACL 3 times). I've been playing both cricket and golf for my respective clubs for the past 12 years and haven't enjoyed playing as much as I am at the moment!

To Watch: American Football, Cricket and Golf Being based in the UK, I do get some enjoyment out of ironing my shirts for the week on a sunday night with the NFL on and which ever tournament is being played across the pond on the PGA!

I went to bowling with my friends last Friday. It was my third time and I hit a 130 with a 0 for the 1st round. not sure if you call it the 1st round or something else... my friends say that I'm a quick learner for bowling and it feels great ! But I know a girl who can hit 5 strikes in a row and get 200 points...

Persistency is Key

I would theoretically. I played basketball growing up and could get behind basketball. Don't even know the rules of baseball and football. Can't see myself watching baseball. I was raised by immigrant women and was a loner all my life. Nobody ever sat down and watched sports with me. Probably a good thing. I'd be like some superfan character with my personality
