What does everybody think of Romney?

Do you guys think that Romney is a solid candidate for President, or does he remain too moderate in his political ideologies? If you don't like Romney, which candidate did you previously like the most/least? And who here (if anyone) is pro-Obama?

I will be voting for Obama. Less of a chance we go to war with Iran is a pretty big factor there. I'm also more moderate fiscally than most on this site, but to be honest I don't see a ton of difference between Romney and Obama on the economic front.

I could have gotten behind someone like Huntsman if he was the nominee, but I'm too far left socially to consider any of the other GOP candidates.

I admire the shit out of Ron Paul, but don't think I would actually want him to be president.

I doubt I'll vote. This is a problem with American voting system, you're either Dem. or GOP. Everyone else is essentially obsolete

You make yourself obsolete by not voting. Dont blame the system

It is the system. I don't need to vote to legitimize my views. I don't like either candidate and feel no loyalty to either party, and voting for a 3rd party is essentially the same as not voting, except for I can say I voted.

If you don't vote, you revoke your right to complain about anything government-related for the next 4 years.

That is completely not true. Unless you're telling me that you completely support every piece of legislation and/or policies implemented by the candidate that you vote for?

I am fiscally conservative, and I don't really understand why people who claim to be fiscal conservatives support war-mongers. War is the most wasteful, costly and sprawling government program known to man.

I am socially conservative, but that doesn't mean I think government should impose my socially conservative views on millions of other people. So I don't get why other social conservatives seem hell-bent on imposing their views on everyone else when they would obviously hate to have other people's views imposed on themselves.

Domestically it's a toss-up for who would waste more money on stupid stuff. Romney would waste it primarily on corporate welfare and the warfare industry; Obama would waste it primarily on individual welfare and the medical industry. Overall, Romney seems to be a worse candidate because he seems to be more likely to start wars and invade other countries than Obama.
