What field in finance is best for me?

so i am a former pre-med who is graduating with a 3.4ish gpa and has an econ major and chemistry minor. I wanted to go to med school but just realized that i like finance. I enjoy reading about finance i enjoy talking about finance and enjoy learning more about finance. But my problem is i'm not sure where to go from here. I feel like I would Asset Management because I have had a leadership position in my colleges investment company for 4 years. \I do NOT like sales at all. not one bit. I also feel like i would want a job in which hard work would get me promotions, it does not seem asset management is that. There seems to be some luck involved with the picking of stocks. Investment banking M&A seems interesting as I get to prepare reports and work simply evaluate a company.
that seems out of reach as I go to a top 20 liberal arts college and is by no ways a feeder school. any other suggestions. i guess it is the pre-med in me saying just study and you will get a good pay. I feel like i a job in finance that matches that would be something i enjoy.

i am a former varsity athlete so i would like to work in a team. I am a tiny bit introverted however. so take that into consideration

Stopped reading about luck involved in picking stocks. Get some solid maths modules/classes.

IB seems the one for you. Analysis and fucking tonnes of reading hard work. Lots of networking but its the closest match you'll find.

You seem to want to remove the risk out of making money. That doesnt work (see interest rates for understanding).
