What is Corporate & Investment Bank Global Treasury Management at JPM?
Is this FO or BO? It is listed under Corporate and Investment Bank on the jobs search page, but it sounds more like a supporting function role. You help clients manage cash, currency, and supply chains. That still sounds very vague to me. Could anyone tell me more about the role, like the responsibilities and the skills required for the job/gained on the job?
Bump I am interested in this question as I was invited to interview for it.
Hey aaabbc,
I believe it is a BO role. I am a SA for 2018 (so don't crucify me if I'm wrong) and from what I hear from my recruiter and friend that works at JPM, Corp Fin, Financial Analysis, and Treasury are all BO roles under CIB.
It is front office but not IB. Corporate and investment banking at a BB broadly consists of three things: Classic IB (M&A/debt/equity), corporate lending, and treasury/transaction services. All are client facing but the work and comp vary widely.
