What is the Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Diversity and Inclusion branch all about?

For global wealth management for MSSB, I noticed they have this diversity program that gets "diverse" people into internship positions. What exactly goes on during the orientation of a diversity program for the interns? And in what sense does diverse mean? As in specific majors that usually wouldn't apply to MSSB, racial makeup, or what? I heard a rumor that it is a special program geared towards getting African Americans, Hispanics, and other minority races in. Does anyone have an insight? Thanks because I am part of this internship!

I am part of the global wealth management internship but I only recently heard about the diversity and inclusion program. What defines diversity? As in maybe you are a math major and they are looking for math majors? Or is it more race oriented?

Are you not white?
