What Not to Wear on your Superday Plane/Bus Ride
Hey Everyone,
In the past I have had superdays that required flight/bus/train to and from interview destinations. During many of these transportation experiences, HR has coordinated other super day interviewees to take the same shuttle to/from an airport, bus station, train terminal etc to/from the hotel for the night. I have seen everything from tanks and gym shorts to full suits...(for a bus ride straight to the hotel?).
I've always believed a jeans, t-shirt, and clean shoes get-up fit the scenario best - would love to here the monkey's opinions.
Good Looks,

If you're sure you won't be seeing any actual employees then who cares? Just make sure you don't lose your suit in checked luggage...
1-Day superday - What To Wear To Plane (Originally Posted: 02/01/2016)
Hey guys,
Have a superday coming up. I will be flying to and from the office the same day, so I don't think I'll be checking any luggage. Do I wear a suit the entire day (airport, taxi, etc...) or do I have any additional options? Thanks for the help.
I had a 1-day superday in the fall and just wore a suit the entire day. I tried to be careful but it wrinkled a little anyway. Still got the offer though.
Who checks luggage, much less for a 1-day trip?
If you're swoll wear a tank and intimidate other interviewees...
On a serious note ruffryder nailed it
Wear a suit or fold it properly in a carry on if you think you'll be able to find a place to change.
Just keep wearing the snuggie you were wearing on the plane.
Wear a suit the entire day. I'm pretty sure I've done it somewhere between 7 and 5000 times in my life... And I can almost guarantee you that other people will be wearing suits on the plane unless you're in your way to Montego Bay.
You may want to get a wrinkle free shirt and put it in your carry on and throw an extra tie in in case you spill coffee or something. Have your suit pressed before you wear it and just take your jacket off on the plane and keep it unwrinkled.
If you're polite and explain your situation, the FAs will often hang up your suit coat in the first class hanger.
Echo what everyone else is saying, just wear the suit on the plane. Whenever I travel I wear at minimum slacks and a dress shirt simply for the sake of being professional. Also, just like exemplaria said, it shouldn't be a problem to have the flight attendants hang up the jacket. If not, though not great for the suit, the flight won't be enough to wrinkle it excessively.
Meh. Don't sweat it.
The most important guys interviewing you are gonna be 40-something-year-old MDs who've spent most of their waking hours in front of their computers anyway, so it's not like they'll have good enough eyesight to tell if your suit's a little wrinkled.
Wear a bikini
