What to do if I haven't taken core finance courses in time for recruiting season?

I'm a rising junior and am planning to apply to SA positions this fall. But I haven't taken any finance courses yet, such as corporate finance and Financial Accounting (from what I've read, these are the two main subject areas from which the technical questions in the interview are drawn from).

I am planning to take these two courses this fall. But it seems that the recruiting season starts as early as September and goes into January. Given this timeline, I'm assuming that I would have to start studying/reading up on corporate finance and Financial Accounting principles this summer so that I'm prepared for the interviews, instead of giving the interviewer some lame excuse that I don't know the material yet because I changed majors and am in the middle of taking the course.

I know that interviews can take place in January too, and by then I will have completed Corp Finance and Financial Accounting (in addition to reading the WSO and Vault guides to technical questions). But I will hopefully be getting interviews during the fall as well, and so I'm wondering what guides/books would be recommended reading for someone in my situation. Should I opt for a self-study course from a site like BIWS? Will such a course be sufficient enough to get me through an interview? Or are these self-study courses taking more of a "teach to the test" approach in that they will skim over the material and leave you with a basic but not intuitive understanding of the material?

Also, how much time should I try to set aside for studying these things over the summer? I'm doing a full-time internship and taking a summer class, so I'll be pretty busy. I think I might be able to commit 5 hours a week (on weekends) to study outside material like a BIWS course.
