Agree with Febreeze, determine which one you are more interested in and go for that. Don't determine what you want to do just based on how difficult it might be to land one job over another.
ER if you're a markets guy, IB if you're a deal junky guy. Very rarely do I find people who like both. ofc you can still get into either, whatever type of guy you are....but you seem to want the easiest way. easier to be passionate if you like one or the other truly.
first of all I hope your username isn't your actual name, and its a dead give away that you're indian at a non-target, which is literally the worst possible situation, well equal to or slightly better than asian. so you have to ace everything thrown at you, since you would be the last person I hired. i could easily get an indian from wharton...tons of them, and smarter-UNLESS you prove otherwise via networking/interviewing.
