Where are you IN for Business School? 2013 Edition

I hear that some of the first rounds are releasing/released so I figured I'd start this up to see where the community has had luck and has struck out so far this year :)

I'm down in Brazil sipping caipirinhas and working at a startup but will be January rounding it again this year

yale2005:
in at HBS and Yale SOM, rejected without interview at Stanford GSB

I would write them a letter letting them know that YOU are rejecting THEM and not the other way around. I'd almost hate for them to think that they came out ahead in this one.

This to all my hatin' folks seeing me getting guac right now..

Looks like HBS doesn't reject anyone. What a bunch of ballers. (I know its very difficult to get into, I am just kidding, just found it funny that everyone got into HBS so far, but no one into Stanford.)

Black Jack:
Could you guys who are applying/hearing back also post what field you are currently in (don't have to say the firm). Would be helpful to see the mix of people applying from IB, PE, Consulting, etc.

yes please!

I don't throw darts at a board. I bet on sure things. Read Sun-tzu, The Art of War. Every battle is won before it is ever fought- GG

Also can you say what you plan on doing after MBA? Returning to PE/IB...start ups? non-profit? porn? any direction would be great!

In: Yale, McCombs, Booth Rejected w/o interview: Columbia Applied and waiting for answer: Sloan

Less than 2yrs of WE in IB.

'Oh, yeah, that's right. That's what's it's all about, all right. But talkin' about it and bein' it, that's two different things.'

kingfalcon:
I'm a little suspicious of the people that say they are in at Sloan. Sloan doesn't release decisions until 1/29 and just started doing interviews last week.
Ignore those posts. He claimed to be in at multiple schools that had not yet released their decision.

In: HBS, Columbia (w/ $) WL after interview: Stanford Nothing yet: Wharton

Work at HF after doing M&A at boutique; 770/3.9+ from state school Big relief to have process mostly behind now.

Pwn3r:
Where ever he is, Brady is mad jealous of all the HBS acceptances.

Hahah he posted like 5 times in the HBS thread on GMATClub after acceptances went out and made sure to mention how 'transformational' it will be.

I wonder if everyone will be hooking up like rabbits too.

4.5 years active duty Air Force. Lots of leadership stories and working with teams. I had some strong EC in college but practically nothing since then. I was also a re-applicant, rejected last year with a 700 GMAT.

Say hello from me to Glenn "Give it your best shot" Hubbard! Just teasing ...

Hey all, wanted to get the groups opinion. Admitted at Wharton, Booth and CBS. Trying to decide if it makes sense to go back to BSchool (Probably Wharton) or stay on at my Ibanking Firm (A2A promote)? Any perspective would be helpful!

scleraxis:
In at Wharton as well but don't think I can turn down HBS, even though Wharton has a fantastic Healthcare Management program.

I forbid you to anyway. I am afraid you HAVE to go to HBS. Sorry.
