Where are you IN for Business School? 2013 Edition
I hear that some of the first rounds are releasing/released so I figured I'd start this up to see where the community has had luck and has struck out so far this year :)
I'm down in Brazil sipping caipirinhas and working at a startup but will be January rounding it again this year
in at HBS and Yale SOM, rejected without interview at Stanford GSB
I would write them a letter letting them know that YOU are rejecting THEM and not the other way around. I'd almost hate for them to think that they came out ahead in this one.
In at HBS (and will attend); rejected post-interview at Stanford; Wharton decisions come out on Thursday.
in at Sloan shuns!!
HBS but deferring
Looks like HBS doesn't reject anyone. What a bunch of ballers. (I know its very difficult to get into, I am just kidding, just found it funny that everyone got into HBS so far, but no one into Stanford.)
Could you guys who are applying/hearing back also post what field you are currently in (don't have to say the firm). Would be helpful to see the mix of people applying from IB, PE, Consulting, etc.
yes please!
congrats guys!
In at HBS and will be matriculating. Dream scenario.
To add:
Black Jack:

Also can you say what you plan on doing after MBA? Returning to PE/IB...start ups? non-profit? porn? any direction would be great!
How did you future HBS'ers fare on the gmat? Thing is my Achilles heel right now...
Short, aren't you at Duke?
Just want to say congrats to the HBS admits. Prepare for a transformational experience, to ooze swagger, and to slay. http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/e-mail-from-hbs-14-buddy

took year off to work/angel invest at startup in sao paulo
It makes perfect sense that people get rejected from Stanford while getting into Harvard. The program is on third of the size.
HBS (R1): Admit/Matriculating Stanford (R1): Denied w/interview Wharton (R1): Interviewed/Awaiting Decision
Stats: GMAT: 750 GPA: 3.9 in Econ School: Service Academy W/E: 5 years military
Post-MBA: ????
I'm a little suspicious of the people that say they are in at Sloan. Sloan doesn't release decisions until 1/29 and just started doing interviews last week.
lol i bet Stanford doesn't take anyone cept Silicon Valleyt. But their graduating class is what 400 vs 1k+ for others m7s so i can see the high rejection rate for finance peepz.
In: HBS, Columbia (w/ $) WL after interview: Stanford Nothing yet: Wharton
Work at HF after doing M&A at boutique; 770/3.9+ from state school Big relief to have process mostly behind now.
Where ever he is, Brady is mad jealous of all the HBS acceptances.
Hahah he posted like 5 times in the HBS thread on GMATClub after acceptances went out and made sure to mention how 'transformational' it will be.
I wonder if everyone will be hooking up like rabbits too.
In at Columbia, early decision. I was invited to interview at Booth but withdrew my application since I was already in at CBS.
3.0 GPA, state school in engineering. 750 GMAT.
what were the rest of your stats like? work experience, EC, etc?
4.5 years active duty Air Force. Lots of leadership stories and working with teams. I had some strong EC in college but practically nothing since then. I was also a re-applicant, rejected last year with a 700 GMAT.
Say hello from me to Glenn "Give it your best shot" Hubbard! Just teasing ...
In at Georgetown. Waiting on some interviews and looking forward to being done with R2 applications.
In at Wharton...just got the call from a member of the adcom. It's great news and the opportunity to spend time at INSEAD is a strong selling point, but I just don't think there's any way I can turn down HBS.
Hey all, wanted to get the groups opinion. Admitted at Wharton, Booth and CBS. Trying to decide if it makes sense to go back to BSchool (Probably Wharton) or stay on at my Ibanking Firm (A2A promote)? Any perspective would be helpful!
In at Wharton as well but don't think I can turn down HBS, even though Wharton has a fantastic Healthcare Management program.
I forbid you to anyway. I am afraid you HAVE to go to HBS. Sorry.
Congrats everyone.
In at DeVry WL at South Harmon Institute of Technology Rejected from University of Phoenix
