Where to buy Shirts? Charles Tyrwhitt is too big for me

Hey guys, I just received my package from CT and wow these shirts are not made for the "average" 5'7 150lbs. I have ordered the extra slim fit... Did anyone have the same problem as me? where can I get a nice fitted shirt?

Any takers?
thanks!

An extra slim fit CT shirt was too BIG for you? Do you even lift?

Jokes aside, if a extra slim CT shirt is too big for you, ask around the office to see if anyone knows a good custom guy. I know a guy in Chi that does them for $50 a shirt and they are great.

Very nice, sounds like a great deal ... can I possible get the contact info?

Pretty sure the OP meant too slim for him. I order the slim fit (5'10" 170) and it doesn't require extra tailoring. Try regular slim from CT.

Except for the thread title: "...Charles Tyrwhitt is too big for me"

I lift bro haha, and have the opposite problem. Tightness in chest/shoulders. Your best bet is to buy the closest fitting brand off the rack, and take it to your tailor. If you're in NYC, and want the name of a good and somewhat reasonably priced shirtmaker...PM me.

JC Penney sells a brand of shirts called Stafford. Look for the slim fit non-wrinkle cut ($20). They have 'fitted' shirts as well, but the 'slim fit' are more of a European cut and fit me perfectly. These shirts fit better than shirts that have cost me $150+...(100% srs).

fyi: I don't normally shop at JC Penney. I wanted to see for myself out how the management turnout plan strategy was being executed, so I decided to walk in. I saw these shirts on the way out---along with some other stuff---and ended up buying a couple of things. best. purchase. ever.

I buy Stafford undershirts they are slim and LONG, key if you have that build. Solid for an undershirt. Unfortunately, it's the only frugal part of my wardrobe.

The problem with buying shirts at discount department stores and even Jos A Bank is that they are practically tissue paper. Just bad fabric, cut, and design. CT is probably the best I've ever seen when it comes to their price vs quality.

^^Polo v-neck undershirts...all day errday

This is a good example from pinterest of how the shirts fit. Pictured below: modern silhouette – stafford fitted dress shirt and silk tie

Charles Tyrwhitt too big? Just work on an IG bond sales floor for a couple weeks. Most of those motherfuckers look like god damn Jabba the Hutt.

Seriously, ever see a 50 year old man with fucking acne and you're like "how the fuck did that happen?" Let me tell you - that motherfucker's been selling some vanilla IG corporate bonds for like 30 years.
