Where to buy suits

Bros,

Every man knows that a suit should fit on a man like a form-fitting latex glove. Just like the one on that doctor's hand who gave you a colonoscopy last month. Suits can be expensive. Yes, I do have a few throw-away Brioni's that I take out east every weekend but there is neither here nor there.

Whether an analyst, associate, or any shade of asshole, sometimes you don't want to drop a casual 4k on a suit just because it's Thursday night and your fantasy baseball team played well. However, just like that cougar you met in Amagansett last week there is a time in a man's like where you take life by the reigns and say, 'fuck it.' No, that does not mean booking a last minute trip to Yacht Week, although it is highly recommended.

I forewarn those of you who are feign of heart - the news I am about to share is quiet possible the single most important event of August 2016.

The day is upon us. An event only comparable to when Bruce Willis stayed behind in Armageddon to blow up the meteor. "Oh that was just a movie," they say. Bullshit. Bruce Willis sacrificed himself for humanity and you better be thankful each and every day for that. RIP Bruce Willis.

Without further adieu - Men's Warehouse has announced their tri-annual 'Summer Sale.' That's right - you can now buy 8 unwearable suits for just $89.95. Not enough value for you? They'll throw 6 shirts, 12 ties, 3 shoe horns and a $20 gift certificate to Halal Guys.

Happy Friday gentlemen.

Okay, there is a reason why this question is hard to answer. Many people have various different budgets and money available to them. I think investing in a good fitting clothes is quite important. Good suits are available at Men's Warehouse and other various outlets. I can also recommend Brook-Brothers and Ralph Lauren/Armani is my go to for a nice occasion. Once again, figure out what you can afford. I would rather have 4-5 excellent suits than 8-9 Good- Medium Average ones.

I have friends who really like suitsupply but there aren't any locations inthe U.S. outside of manhattan to my knowledge. You can order online though and I believe their return policy is good. Worth checking out.

People tend to think life is a race with other people. They don't realize that every moment they spend sprinting towards the finish line is a moment they lose permanently, and a moment closer to their death.

It earnestly comes down to how much you are looking to spend. Assuming you are relatively athletic, slim and are looking to drop a sizable amount on a suit, I know very few people who are disappointed with the Ralph Lauren Black Label suits (+$1,600). That being said, some other suits at that price point that makes excellent suits are Canali, Pal Zileri and Paul Smith. If you are hoping to spend less, brands worth taking a look at are Suitsupply and Brooks Brothers. North of $2,000 there are simply too many brands to mention.

In terms of color, I'd highly recommend a dark charcoal and a dark navy blue. Both those colors will serve you well in a plethora of situations.

RL Black Label suits are great, and I own a couple...however one thing about them is that they arent the sturdiest suits of all time...i find that they are a bit "finer" and wear out quickly. At a similar price point I like Paul Stuart Phineas Cole line (which is their slim fit line). To me they are similar fit but tend to hold up better.

If this is your only suit then definitely start with Navy or Charcoal.

Charcoal or Navy Ralph Lauren Black Label. They're absolutely fantastic. I tried one on at the RL store just today and the fit was simply amazing with no alterations whatsoever. You definitely won't be disappointed.
