MS does, free. CS does, not sure whether free. GS does, it isn't free. Citi does, it isn't free. BAML does, it isn't free. JPM does not. Barclays does not. UBS, who cares.

Kidding with that last one. Don't know.

Damn, where's DB on that list?
The sole BB whose office I have never been into for an interview or to work.
I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.

Nobody remembers this? I'm not exactly an expert on Barclays, but I'm pretty sure they bought Lehman. Doesn't that imply there's a gym there?

Yes. Barclays has a gym on the 21st floor. It's $80-100/month.

No lap pool though, which was a dealbreaker for me. For a nice, cost-effective pool in midtown, I recommend Manhattan Plaza at 42nd & 10th. The only drawback is that it's at 10th ave.

yeahright:
BAML $90/month on-site

Better to go to Crunch gym in my opinion. Probably the best gym there is in NYC and same price basically.

Equinox baby.

But yes, Crunch is also superb, NYSC if you want the nitty gritty workout people and buff black guys who take up two machines at a time and no one complains because they'll kill you.

CS has fitness center on-site, free for SA (not sure about FT??)

JPM--No. Jamie does not like gyms in his office buildings GS--Yes

"Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, for knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind. And greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA."

The best way to make a career decision: do they have a gym and is it free?

"For all the tribulations in our lives, for all the troubles that remain in the world, the decline of violence is an accomplishment we can savor, and an impetus to cherish the forces of civilization and enlightenment that made it possible."

Confirmed source, CS has a gym, it is very inexpensive (below 50 bucks a month) and pre-tax, realizing it to be the cheapest full service gym.. ever. It is also like Goldman's gym.. you walk in and get to use their shirts, jock straps, shorts, socks, and they even give you a locker with your membership.. and i hear there is a steam room plus full service shower (and all the toiletries included)

Can we know for the SF BBs as well. Thanks.

Don't know for sure but haven't heard of any SF banks having a gym on-site (e.g. there's not one at 555). Everybody uses Equinox, in FiDi if you're in SF or in Palo Alto if you're down there

Thanks for the info. Do people use 24? Equinox seems overpriced.

I'm failing to see the relevance of this thread....if you work there, you'd know, if you don't, you can't use it anyway, and people better not be making employment decisions based off of gyms. #cfagrump
