Which MSF/MSF at all?
Graduated in 2016 from an East Coast state school.
Finance major
3.2 GPA (upward trend - 3.6 senior year)
In an operations role currently that I am unhappy with.
Is an MSF a good route to go? I am not necessarily set on breaking into IB. I would be happy with corporate finance or consulting.
I have taken practice GMATS and am confident I can score around a 660.
Should I look into an MSF? Even though I was a finance major it still feels like a "rebrand" due to my current operational role. Was also a division 1 athlete.
Thanks for any advice
may try to apply to corpfin and consult directly, and in case of rejects apply for an msf
Thanks for the reply. If I am looking to relocate geographically, I feel like an MSF could be good to expand network. Also the fact that most programs are only 10 months makes it appealing. My school did not have great career services and I feel like being back at a school and having access to those resources would be helpful as well.
Although, I see that many people on this site discourage the MSF unless you can get into a school that makes it worthwhile - which makes sense. Just trying to figure out if my credentials make me a viable candidate for those schools.
