Which role within HF Internship the best for FI S&T FT?

Hello! I need your opinions!

If the management at my fairly large hedge fund internship (last one before FT) gives me the choice to choose whatever position / role I want to have, what would be a good position / role to have, to ultimately land a FT S&T gig in Fixed Income?

I am talking in terms of both something for my resume / CV and for learning as much transferable skills as possible.

Thanks all for your contributions!

I'm confused...the managers of a hedge fund you are working for are asking what job you want and you are thinking of a job in sales and trading at a bank as the job you get after the hedge fund? That seems like the opposite of what most people would do.

It's because I am just an intern here, and am almost towards the end of my internship. Now they want to give me projects that I want to have. And I really want to be in S&T, and am looking for a role for the rest of my internship that will give me great transferable skills.

Bobb:
What type of fund are you at? Can you do any sort of trading/work with the traders there?

It's multi-strat firm. I'll need the license to trade. Is there anything I can do as an intern without the license, related to trading?
