Shouldn't, if it's just tickets.
I highly doubt it, unless your job deals with driving other people's cars (aka: dealerships, mechanics, valets). I worked as a valet early in college and they required you to have a clean driving record.
Good god. Who starts these threads?
How do you come up with all of these terrible topics?
Yeah it will hurt your chances if you want to be a bus driver or taxi operator
DINGED.

Does your job require a CDL?
This isn't the Air Fore.
Yes. If you have a 2:1 speeding ticket ratio to GPA, you will get dinged.
Your name is a disgrace to our $10 bill. To answer the question, should be no issue unless you want to be a trucker or drive a musty livery cab in NYC...
What?.............What?

Background Check - Had a speeding ticket last summer (Originally Posted: 02/27/2008)
This may be a silly question but I am concerned nonetheless. I am going to be doing my summer at a BB in NYC and I had to fill out the background check paperwork today and fax it in. I had a speeding ticket last summer that I lazily did not pay for several months and my license was suspended until it was paid. Will the bank care at all? (the form specifically asked if my license had ever been suspended).
I doubt that they would rescind your offer as long as you don't lie about it.
i put a note about it on the paperwork that they wanted.
As long as you didn't lie about it they won't care. I don't recall any section on my background that asked about my license or unpaid tickets.
Common sense in all things, unless you had something that would indicate that you shouldn't be hired (hit and run fatality, DUI, etc) that isn't normally asked about they won't care.
