Winternship Advice

Starting tomorrow on the equity traders desk at a large cap growth firm ($5-8B AUM) assisting their execution traders. I'm not too sure about what I should expect to be doing, so if anyone has any advice or experience of their own they wouldn't mind sharing that'd be great.

The only information I got was that I'd be starting tomorrow and what desk I'd be with. I spent last winter with this firm doing BO stuff, filing, etc, so I already know the layout and what not.

Thanks

Trading. All I did today was put together trade confirmations for some time & sale tickets, among some other 1st day stuff. I'll have nearly unlimited access to their traders and was invited to shadow whenever I want.

Some of the stuff I was doing could've easily been automated with some simple programming - I know exactly what I'd want to do, I just don't know any coding. I might talk with their tech guy tomorrow about that, but he's got his hands full with some internet problems the firm's having.
