"With that being said, not all of you will be getting offers this summer..."
I heard this from HR during one of our events for summer analysts. Now this phrase just repeats in my head, I'm pretty nervous about what will happen. Any other fellow SA relate to this?
What do you expect someone to tell you? Do what you gotta do to get an offer then. And if you don't, either get over it or get the bank tatted on your head and go on webcam cutting your wrists vertically in a Holiday Inn bathtub. These are simple things.
Did you seriously believe that everyone would get FT offers? It's not summer camp where "everyone's a winner" and you get a participation medal... Now shake off that nervousness, realize that while you should be friendly also to fellow SA they are competition and you simply need to be better than the rest. It's not about just getting through the summer, it's about showing your future employer why they should hire you and not the guy/girl next to you.

You'll be fine... Work hard to get the offer, you already beat out a ton of people to get this far. If you don't get the offer, you have a leg up for your next opportunity because this is on your resume.
Relax.
Make sure you do good work and that people like you...not that hard to do if you're conscientious. The statement clearly isn't news, so it shouldn't really change the way you approach the internship...
