I read an article on Wolverine that they won a convertible arbitrage fund of the year award a couple years ago... I could be wrong but that strategy has $1.2b in AUM, which is huge.

lol, close. but not exactly
Are you referring to Wolverine Trading, the Chicago prop shop?
They're a very solid firm to work for- certainly in the league of Peak6, CTC, the Gelber Group. Not sure they are at the level of Jump or Getco.
It's been so many years since I was recruiting in Chicago, but they almost have to do something with listed markets there.
They have an Asset Management arm, and I was wondering about the reputation of that.. I know their main trading division is strong in Chicago.
here is their site: http://wolvefunds.com/
"Wolverine Asset Management, LLC is a registered investment advisor managing private investment funds exclusively for qualified investors. "
LOL typical Chicago prop shop style.
Hello. We exist. This is our name. Goodbye.
I've seen better - check out this one, run by an ex-Citadel: http://www.blandertechnologies.com/
Yeah. I'm torn between saying "I don't have a clue" and "I don't know, but a lot of Chicago prop shops have been moving to VC stuff."

Wolverine AM as a whole manages $5.7b per their 2012 SEC filings.
