Would I be considered a 'recent graduate'?

I graduated in 2013 June. Didn't find a job in my major so took up something in Financial services but not at all related to Finance. I was just wondering if I should still refer to myself as a 'recent graduate' when I network around?

I am just a little worried that people will mistake me for someone who graduated in 2014 June. I dont want there to be a situation where the other person ends up thinking that I am being misleading or something like that.
