Would I make the wrong impression if I wore these Ferragamo oxfords as an analyst?

Pretty basic, and I think they look nice. Just don't want that ferragamo logo on the side possibly make me look like a douche/try-hard. I really think its a nice looking shoe.
Never liked the look of Ferragamos - for that kind of cash, I'd go with these

I personally never saw a reason to go beyond Allen Edmonds Park Ave
But do you think they're too flashy for an analyst?
no
Hate the toe on those, the curve is too shallow. Much prefer the OP shoes.
Honestly as long as they're simple black oxfords like those, no one cares. There were multiple summers in my group who only wore ferragamo shoes and hermes/gamo ties and no one gave a fuck. As long as you do your job and aren't annoying do be around, you'll be fine.
Nobody cares, really. 99% of people won't even notice the logo.
They are beaut shoes. Get them.
Just copped these. Very narrow by the toes so I am not sure if they can be worn all day. The ae shoes are way more comfortable.
Really? I actually returned a pair of AE Park Ave's because they were too clunky and felt like they were somewhat constricting. I like the narrow pointy designs on many of the new contemporary italian shoes, as long as they stay within the realm of being conservative.
It's either the ones I posted or a To Boot New York pair.
Are these from the Tramezza line? If not, they're no better than the other glued together pieces of trash you can find at Macy's. Judging by the thickness of the sole, that does not look like a Goodyear-welted shoe (never mind handwelted...), but if they're from the Tramezza line, then they're Blake stitched, which isn't bad.
Still, I believe the Tramezza line to be overpriced for what the shoes are and the lower-quality Ferragamos aren't even worth buying. Oftentimes the Tramezza shoes use corrected grain leather for the uppers, which shouldn't be the case for a $500+ shoe.
If you're going to be dropping that kind of coin on a black cap-toe, I would recommend the Alfred Sargent Armfield (that price includes shipping worldwide and lasted shoe trees). These shoes from the AS Exclusive line offer a great bang for your buck and will easily last you a decade or more if you take good care of them. The quality of the channeled soles is better than that of Crocket & Jones Handgrade shoes which sell for hundreds of dollars more.
Of course, the AE Park Avenue is also a great quality shoe and sells for cheaper, but I prefer the sleeker look of the Alfred Sargent 109 last compared to AE's 65 last and with the AS cap-toes, you're getting a pair of shoes from an established Northampton shoemaker (basically the Mecca of shoemaking).
EDIT: I just looked those Ferragamos up. These are the Remigio oxfords and are not from the Tramezza line -- they just have glued-on rubber soles. Quality is sub-par. Also, I vastly overestimated your budget, so just disregard my Alfred Sargent suggestion.
For a decent shoe is the same price range, I would just go with these shoes from Andrew Lock.
Never understand why people pay premium for Gamos. Crappy made shoes and can do so much better for the price point. Goodyear welt or bust.
Not worth the price. Nice though.
Is this what people in NY pay attention to? Labels on your fucking shoes? This is why I'm glad I don't live on the east coast.
