yes this has been brought up on several past occasions. I don't think it's more conservative, but conservatives tend to respond/post more and are more active in threads about politics.
It's a mixed bag. I just think that the conservatives on here tend to be the most active in political threads. I'm a moderate Democrat and used to post a ton in politics threads, but it just gets tiresome.
As for the street in general, I think you'll find most people, not all, but most people are fiscal moderates / conservatives and socially liberal /moderate. There are idealogues everywhere, of course, but it's not some far right universe.
