WSO's thoughts on this internship alternative

Hello, long time lurker here. I came across this program:
http://www.owen.vanderbilt.edu/vanderbilt/programs/accelerator/

It's basically a 4-week "bootcamp" that is advertised as being "an internship on steroids" where you learn in the classroom as well getting real world experience.

Considering the timing, one would probably have to forgo a "real" internship to attend. I'm wondering how this experience would compare to an internship (I'm thinking summer after sophomore year) in terms of not only learning but also as how it could be viewed by employers. (Btw, I'm personally leaning towards consulting over IB as far as where I'd want to work it the future.)

WSO has been a huge help for me so far so I'm curious to hear yall's thoughts on this. Thanks.

you do understand that there are other careers options than ib or consulting?

Because when you're in a room full of smart people, smart suddenly doesn't matter—interesting is what matters.

Your $10k could be used much better than for a random business program. It's like those summer programs on college campuses for high school kids -- a cash cow for the university that offers little to no benefits in terms of admission/career advancement.
