You know what's overrated? "Entrepreneurship!" Here is feedback on your "business proposal."

There are some stupid kids who are trying to be an entrepreneur. In reality, what they do is "**** the world. I do my own things." You know the kind you don't want to be around your children. They lack discipline and actual thinking. They also have this mantra "get rich or die trying." What they also have in common is that they don't mind their own business; it's fine if they want to lead a life of poverty (or living on their parents money), but they normally have to send out stupid business proposals to anyone who they think interested. Sadly, we have been a recipient of one of these proposals recently. The proposal began with, you know the usuals, "We want to change the world, we want to give power to people. Because people are everything..."

You know, what I noticed, a lot of these guys talk about "changing the world," "giving people what they want." Why can they not mind their own business? You don't have to change the world; you control what you can - which is your life (not your partners, your parents' life), only your life you can control.

You can start at an organization and learn lots of roles and how an organization works. And you have been thinking about some idea, business idea for some time (like 10 years). You know a bit about business and organization. You might as well want to give it a try. What is laughable is kids who come straight out of college and say "I want to build my own business." That alone is a proof of his (almost always - bottom 25% of men in this world are stupid) ignorance.

No one is going to say, I will be a football coach and I will start as a headcoach because that's just stupid and quite frankly, why should we have to listen to such an individual.

Stop sending out these proposals. If you don't even know the right people, I don't mean "know of" but "actually know the persons," your business won't succeed and your business proposal is most likely rubbish, not even worth anyone's time (but you don't know that because you are stupid). We googled the guy(s) who had these teaser like powerpoint slide (with their "economic forecast"), found them on linkedin. What do you think we should do as a punishment? I am thinking we should publish this proposal online (of course, there was no legal disclaimer in the proposal - even if there was, that wouldn't be legally binding anyway!!!) with these idiots names.

What stupid idiots.

Everything the OP says is wrong. Not everyone starts one business idea and is successful. Many entrepreneurs try many ideas and some of them fail, but all it takes is for one of those ideas to succeed. You don't need to know the right people, it can help, but all companies start small.

Also, I think dreaming big and having core values and a mission statement is what many successful CEOs say is the key to their success.
