You think it's too late for you to break into IB?

or too late to do anything, for that matter?

(mute)

Now shut up and do it

Second video is kinda crappy, but it still has some gems in it

anybody else know of other success-after-failure stories?

Lol, good post. Made me smile.

Honestly though I've seen so many inspirational videos by now that they no longer mean anything.

Nothing short of everything will really do.

That's one of the reasons why I thought the second one was meh...

I know silly I am joking :D I am actually happy I go to a non-target soooooooo many dimes. Its chill and less competition in my school since very little people actually want to go through the hell of Wall Street.

but just failed and GAVE UP
This is often the common denominator. If they didn't want it bad enough to keep going, or decided they wanted something else, fine. But looking at a lot of successful people, you'll quickly come to the realization that they're not all that much brighter, connected, or lucky than the rest of us...they are just very persistent.

Sure, if you're 40 and still waiting tables while thinking the band is going to 'make it', you might want to stop and take realistic stock of your life, I'm not denying reality. I'm merely reinforcing the fact that people have overcome immense odds to get what they want and you guys can too. Maybe the point is to learn from failures instead of making the same mistakes?

What about the people who failed?

Nobody gets famous by failing that's why you never hear about them. Think about all the aspiring actresses like J-Lo who came from a rough neighborhood, who wanted fame just as bad, but just failed and are now waitresses.

Not trying to be a downer but a realist.

Thanks Sherlock, I think you're missing the point.

Nah buddy, I think you were missing the point I was making on the point of your videos.

I'm pretty sure we all understand that failure is still an option, the videos were to show that it's never too late to do something no matter how much you've failed before... unless you're running for congress with a couple felonies on your record or something like that
