Definitely go with ZS Associates if you want to go into consulting after graduating. Generally considered the top biotech consulting firm. Great reputation, strong MBA placements, analysts be promoted to AC and consultant levels without getting an MBA if you want to go that routes.

Great exits to marketing /sales management roles in biotech / pharma.

Hello there!!

I was in your exact position last year with two of the same three offers. I was deciding between ZS Associates in Evanston, IL, IBM CbD, NYC and Operations Management at JPM instead of BOA which is your case.

Eventually I selected IBM CbD as my summer experience and I can say without a doubt that I made the right choice. The commerical sector of IBM is killer and I loved NYC (depending on where your office is location may be more of a factor for you). I am not going to lie compensation at BOA will probably be higher this summer but is less likely to be more than ZS or IBM after graduation.

I said not to JPM because I knew I wanted to do consulting and the other two opportunities were more consulting. Bear in mind that ZS specializes in marketing and sales consulting. After working for one of their largest clients in the Chicagoland the prior summer, I knew pharma was personally not for me - especially as both my parents are with pharma giants and have been my entire life so I may be bias.

PM if you wanna chat!!

Thank you so much! I chose IBM GBS, and will be based in New York City. My reason for choosing IBM was very similar to yours; I am more intrigued in consulting than in operations. I am very excited for the summer, and thank you for your insights. Have a wonderful day!
