Position: Analyst / Associate
Location: Chicago, IL
General Purpose: Seeking full time investment banking analyst and/or associate to support existing transactions and new business development. Firm focuses on middle-market M&A transactions and capital raising assignments.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Performing financial modeling and analysis
Preparing various presentations
Conducting company and industry analysis
Drafting of confidential memoranda
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Familiarity with valuation methodologies
Strong financial modeling skills, specifically Excel
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Detail oriented
Strong acumen
Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Education and/or Training:
4-year degree required, with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting preferable.
Associate: Minimum 3 years experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate M&A.
Analyst: Relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate M&A required (either full-time or via college internship).
