High-growth venture capital/private equity-backed (post Series B) startup based in San Francisco looking for a quant oriented strategist. This role reports directly to CEO and other senior leadership.

Primarily responsibilities:
-Develop an understanding of the firm’s strategy, business operations and industry dynamics
-Independently analyze opportunities and develop recommendations for presentation to range of stakeholders, including C-level Executives, Board and potential investors
-Create concise presentations of complex analyses and present to senior management
-Prepare strategic and market analyses to support decision making
-Provide complex corporate, financial and valuation modeling

Qualifications:
-Undergraduate degree from top tier university with quant background: Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Operation Research or related subject
-3+ years of noteworthy professional experience in IB/PE/VC/Strategy Consulting or successful startup(s)
-Comfortable with uncertainty, affinity for change and the ability to manage risk
-Demonstrable capacity to pitch and communicate complex ideas
-Strong knowledge of venture capital/private equity finance
-Evidence of ability to think quickly and creatively
-Capable of regular domestic and global travel
-Willingness to start working immediately
