SUMMARY
The Associate’s primary responsibility would be to support four senior Corporate Development executives: VP of North America, VP UISA, VP CEE, BFIG, LatAm, and Head of Corporate Development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Building M&A models: accretion/dilution models complete with valuation, sensitivity analysis, ROIC and IRR return metrics, bottoms-up financial models. The associate will also work closely with various CFOs across the business units in order to develop the financial model and business case.
•Transaction materials: creating PPT decks for Corp Dev head to review with Board for transaction approval.
•Origination: work with senior team members to generate deal origination which would consist of in-person meetings with target company management teams as well as phone calls. In addition, conduct industry research in order to find new acquisition targets.
EDUCATION, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
•1-2 years of M&A investment banking experience.
•Candidate will have had experience building:
•bottoms-up financial models,
•accretion/dilution models,
•discounted cash flow valuations,
•calculating ROIC, ROI, IRR return metrics,
•making purchase accounting adjustments,
•Understanding of financial statements and general accounting principles.
•Experience creating PPT presentations.
•Must have experience interacting (even if by phone) with target company management teams.
•Demonstrated experience performing target company due diligence.
