A start-up HF focused on Electronic & Equity Trading with substantial stat-up capital and high quality principal investors is looking for a lawyer with 1-4 years of experience in a law firm or in a financial services legal department. This person should be both smart & saavy who can help the fund with a range of legal, operations and administrative matters. Legal tasks will include ISDA docs, employment agreements, prime brokerage accounts, broker-dealer compliance and general contracts. This person should also have an interest and exposure to the business as it will not be purely a straight legal position. Not a lot of experience required as they loop in their outside advisor on most matters.
Base salary plus a bonus but if interested in the candidate, will do what it takes.
