A highly successful hedge fund with in excess of $1billion of AUM is seeking a dynamic Senior Investment Analyst with strong Credit analysis skills to focus on high yield & distressed debt investments across a variety of industries with an emphasis on financials, real estate (non-residential), insurance and homebuilders. The fund will be investing in High Yield, Corporate Credit, and Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities. The main responsibility will be to head the research process for the evaluation of credit investments across sectors.

Successful candidates will have:

5+ years of successful credit analysis experience in High Yield with a fundamental approach to credit analysis from a Credit Hedge Fund or Investment Bank. The analyst should have strong and successful CDO experience, being highly competent at monitoring credit performance and/or estimating expected cash flows. This is not a position for a heavy quant trader or someone with only structuring experience (although this experience is a plus in addition). A strong desire to move to a hedge fund in a high impact role with significant responsibility must be demonstrated.

The ideal candidate will be:

A distressed debt analyst at a US based Hedge Fund and be willing to relocate to the mid-Atlantic. The ideal candidate will have experience in the financials, insurance, homebuilders or corporate high yield sectors (although not a requirement)
